Make Real Change

Action-oriented therapy for entrepreneurs and professionals who are ready for meaningful change.

You’re Successful.
So Why Are You Still Stuck?

Strategies that used to feel like success are now causing stress!

Our work is focused on helping you understand what's happening in your professional life and the impact it has on your personal life.

This might look like:

  • Striving for perfection

  • Putting everyone and everything above your needs

  • Pushing down your inner feelings and pushing through to make it work

  • Doing it all on your own

  • Avoiding distressing emotions

This leads to:

  • Intense Stress & Burnout

  • Relationship conflict

  • Difficulty identifying or expressing needs or emotions

  • Constant People-pleasing

  • Irritable or angry outbursts

  • Unexplained anxiety/depression

WHAT WE CAN WORK ON

Feeling Disconnected From Yourself

You've had to maintain control - always. You over-function to keep the peace, regulate yourself, and put everything and everyone else first to be successful. The long-term result is that you've lost the connection to yourself.

Feeling Overwhelmed by Your Emotions

Pressures build, sometimes silently, as you go through life. Constantly pushing yourself to not make the mistakes that could derail everything you're working on and toward. But then a moment comes where your emotions are too much to handle and you snap. Your frustration pours out on those you care about or work with and before you realize it, you've said something that has damanaged who and what you care about.

Repeating Patterns You Can’t Seem to Break

Whether you know why or not, you find yourself stuck in a pattern that you struggle to break. You've done everything that you can think of and have even sought out social media advice, only to find yourself doing the same things that you've done before. You feel that sense of failure and the struggle against the idea of being powerless.

Struggling in Important Relationships

  • Communication

  • Conflict

  • Emotional connection

  • Boundaries

  • Expressing needs

You Can’t Turn Work Off

You don't demand perfection from others, but you certainly demand it of yourself. You have to make sure that you respond to emails, texts, issues, and problems quickly and at all hours; Maybe you feel a sense of anxiety that you're not doing enough or that you don't want to let others down, or it's something else. The bottom line, your life is constant work and stress. You need to find balance fast before you burn out.

Past Experiences That Still Feel Present

Significant traumatic or distressing events don't disappear just because times goes by. Whether you're struggling with past events and how these moments show up in your life today or seeing a pattern that looks like a trauma response: overcontrol, excessive busyness, or difficult emotions that are not proportionate to the moment, we can processes these events to find a greater sense of self and peace.

ADHD, AuDHD, & High-Functioning Autism

As someone who lives with ADHD, I can't stand the term neurodivergent. We are neurodynamic with abilities that require a different approach. As an entrepreneur or professional who is neurodynamic, it is important to gain understanding about what your brain needs and therapy that supports you while explaining things in a language that aligns to your lived experiences.

Internalized Negative Self-Talk

One of the most common and sneaky ways our mental health is torn down is from the inside. Negative self-talk comes with the territory of trauma, religious trauma, a neurodynamic brain, and the belief that you need that critical voice to push you. You know this voice is there, but you need specific and personalized steps to help turn it from the destructive critic to an inspiring coach.

How I Help You Make Change

My approach is collaborative, personalized, practical, and action-oriented. I don’t use the same approach with every client and select the therapeutic approach based on what each client needs.

Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT)

With DBT, we work together to develop & strengthen skills in mindfulness, distress tolerance, emotional regulation, and interpersonal effectiveness to help you build the next level version of your life.

Hypnotherapy

Hypnotherapy is often a misunderstood modality. This isn't what you see on stage, but a collaborative approach to use deep focus and relaxation to help clients manage a variety of difficulties, improve performance, and create change.

EMDR Flash Therapy for Trauma Processing

Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) Flash is a gentle, evidenced-based therapeutic intervention used to reduce the impact of distressing or traumatic memories.

Mindfulness

Nevermind how others have labeled this, mindfulness with me is a focus on deepening or re-establishing of the connection between mind, body, and the present moment to help you know what you are experiencing internally and externally.

Internal Family Systems (IFS)

IFS is one of the approaches I use to help clients understand the different aspects or parts of themselves and how these parts can show up and create difficult patterns or moments. Awareness is the change catalyst.

Strategic Conversation

Conversation is important, but let's not spend years talking about the same issue with no progress. When we work together, I always make space for what is on your mind, while keeping an eye on intersections that contribute to your frustrating patterns.
